I read a lot about writing About pages. Then I threw it out the window and thought about the questions my fifth grade boys would ask:

Who are you?
I'm a 31 year old special educator and I like a lot of things: health + fitness, design, saving $$$, cats on the internet.

What is this?
Read: life-point-o.

Where are you?
The awesome train across the street connects DC + Baltimore.

When did you start?
My earliest blogsperience was during the LiveJournal, Windows-theme downloading days. The first iteration of this blog was in 2011 with a (bad breakup and a) new apartment in need of thrift store furnishing. Five years later, I'm living in a new state, planning my wedding and getting my thrift together, and ready to drop the blog that came out of a really dark time.

Why? Just - why? Do people actually read that thing?
Who cares! I dig design, photography, and doing the things I love with purpose. I need a creative outlet to maintain balance, and blogging has a friendlier place in my life right now than playing flute, #bandgeek.

What...does that even mean?
Cultivating the things I love, with purpose: fitness, health, food, art + education.
